HPW/CdS composite materials were prepared by impregnation method.
By comparing the IR spectra of composite materials with simplex sample of HPW and CdS.
The composite materials show the better photocatalytic activity than others.
The recycling studies of composite materials are still going on.

Abstract.
The bending properties of the FBWK fabric reinforced composite materials with different fiber volume fraction have been investigated.
The bending modulus and bending strength of FBWK reinforced composite materials have a great relationship with fiber volume fraction.
Within a certain range, the bending modulus and bending strength of FBWK reinforced composite materials increase with fiber volume fraction increases.
Sci. & Tech., 60(2000), p33 [4] Liangsen Liu, et al: Journal of Tianjin Polytechnic University, 20 (2001), p. 21

Alkali-activated materials are an alternative to conventional Portland cement in the production of concrete.
Introduction Alkali-activated materials are an alternative class of inorganic binders.
The advantage of alkaline activated materials over cements is that they are much more environmentally friendly.
In addition to the fact that there is no carbon dioxide production during alkaline activation, another significant benefit is the fact that large-scale industrial waste materials such as blast furnace slag or power ash can be used as the main materials.
