Diarylethene 1a was prepared according to the method described in scheme 2 .The structure of compound 1a was confirmed by 1H NMR(400 MHz, CDCl3): δ 2.38 (s, 6H, -CH3), 2.43 (s, 3H, -CH3), 6.72 (s, 1H, thienyl-H), 7.17 (s, 1H, phenyl-H), 7.21 (d, 1H, J= 8.0Hz, phenyl-H), 7.27 (d, 1H, J= 8.0Hz, phenyl-H), 7.31 (t, 1H, phenyl-H), 7.39 (d, 1H, J= 10.4Hz, phenyl-H), 7.45 (d, 1H, J= 8.4Hz, phenyl-H), 7.50 (s, 1H, phenyl-H).

Introduction The micro-arc oxidation (MAO) is a novel technology, including the micro plasma electric discharge, the complex electrochemistry, plasma chemistry and the thermochemistry process, by which oxide compound ceramic films are grown on the surface of valve metal alloys, which has been developed rapidly in recent years [1-3].
In this paper the nanostructured surface layer was produced on the Ti-6Al-4V alloy by SMAT technique, and then the compound ceramic coatings of surface SNC/MAO were prepared on the nanocrystallized surface of Ti-6Al-4V alloy by MAO, and the phase composition and structure, morphology and the anti-falls off curving tests were discussed.

Conclusion Detailed surface studies have shown that the combination of an apatite abrasive and a HA dopant in the continuous process produces surfaces with a combination of optimized apatite chemistry and controlled surface structure.
The continuous process has the ability to retain the chemistry of the starting HA material.
