Preface This volume represents the proceedings of the third International Conference on Micro Nano Devices, Structure and Computing Systems (MNDSCS 2014), held in Singapore, March 1-2, 2014.
MNDSCS 2014 is an international interdisciplinary conference covering research and development in the field of Micro Nano Devices, Structure and Computing Systems.
The conference program consists of invited talks, and oral presentations, posters and discussions covering a wide range of topics in Micro Nano Devices, Structure and Computing Systems.
For example, the "The Formation of Cooper Pairs and Their Role in Nondissipative Diamagnetic Currents in the Micro- and Macro-Scopic Sized Graphene Materials; Towards High-Temperature Superconductivity" by Takashi Kato suggested that any material with large EHOMO-LUMO,N value (more than a few eV), in which valence bands are completely occupied by electrons, which has been believed to be typical insulator in view of solid state physics and chemistry, has a possibility to exhibit high temperature superconductivity in solids; The paper "Parameter Optimized LS-SVM Based on APSO for Short-term Load Forecasting" by Chia-Sheng Tsai and Sun-Wei Cho designed some experiments to evaluate the performance of our system to determine if our system was capable of achieving the load balance.

The composition of nano Bi2WO6 and graphine is manufactured and its structure are characterized by fhotoluminescence and electrochemical impedance in this paper, and their photocatalytic degradation function are compared to methanal and urea solution, respectively.

At present, many people have studied the influence of the change of the cation in the phosphor matrix on the crystal structure and spectrum of the matrix [8,9].
There are few reports on the adjustment of the skeleton ions in the matrix, resulting in the influence on the crystal structure.
In this paper, a series of samples of M0.955Al2–xGaxSi2O8 (M=Ca, Sr, Ba; x = 0~1.0) were synthesized by high temperature solid phase method, and the crystallographic parameters were calculated by the full spectrum fitting of powder diffraction data and the matrix skeleton was investigated, and the effect of matrix framework ion replacement on crystal structure was investigated.

The results showed that the structure of monolithic column could be adjusted easily through altering the composition of sol solution.

The cactus is a kind of abundant foliage used for the Chinese medicine, which has special physical-chemistry properties and physiological function.
Mori silk, structure of aggregating state and mechanical properties of the slightly dissolved silk fiber modified by the cactus extracts are detailedly investigated, and the antibacterial ratios of the modified B.
These results demonstrated that the aggregating structure inside the silk fiber had nearly no changes after the modification with cactus extracts.
So that the interchain bonding and the ordered regulation of molecular arrangement in fibroin structure improved.

P and κ are the dipolar hyperfine structure parameter and the core polarization constant, respectively.
In the formula of hyperfine structure constant, the dipolar hyperfine structure parameter is P » –47 ´ 10–4 cm–1 [9].
Substituting the above values into Eq. (1), the theoretical g factor and hyperfine structure constant are calculated and shown in Table 1.
