Furthermore, polymer can form a thin polymer-film that fills the voids in the cementitious materials.
These results provide some valuable information for future research and application of polymer modified cement-based materials. 2 Experimental 2.1 Raw Materials Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) and MAs were used as binder components.
The physical properties of the materials used are presented in Tables 1.

Meso-scale simulation is one of the important ways to study dynamic behaviors of concrete materials, while most of the simulation time is used to solve the sparse linear systems.
In this method, the concrete specimen is regarded as a three-phase composite material consisted of aggregate, mortar, and the interfaces between them.

Poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) is known as one of the common transparent polymer materials.
PMMA has many modification methods, such as toughening organic elastomer [1-3] and inorganic rigid material, interpenetrating network structure, crosslinking copolymerization modification, improving the molecular chain structure, nano composite [4] and surface coating modification[5],etc.

Much of the body’s native extracellular matrix is composed of natural materials like collagen, elastin, fibronectin and laminin.
Natural materials, mostly natural polymers, are cost effective, eco-friendly, have good biodegradability but they have some disadvantages (Table 4).
Composite materials generally don’t have any disadvantage as they are the combination of two or more polymers to impart various desired properties.

The reasons include the change of crystal phase content and the increase of thickness, the refractive index change between base materials and venner, the variation of porosity between layers of materials and the corresponding changes of base materials brought by repeated sintering [11-12].

Introduction Wood materials are one of four major building materials (steel, concrete, plastic, wood materials).
It is non-toxic, harmless, is the only renewable and sustainable utilization of "green materials" [1-5] with energy saving features and the role of optimizing the social structure of the material [6].
Materials and Methods The wood Materials Experimental wood materials were collected in November 2008 in the West Campus of Guangxi university, was identified as Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam wood (age 11 years) by professor XuFeng worked in forestry College of Guangxi University. The sample was collected from different parts (top, cadres and the base) of the wood.

Nevertheless, it is required to further improve their tribological properties since the friction coefficient of TiN against commercial metallic materials is not sufficiently low for practical use.
Furthermore, TiN coatings can suffer from severe adhesion to counter materials.
