Finite element analysis of crankshaft Modal analysis of crankshaft Crankshaft built by solidworks is imported into ansys, which in order to make up the weakness for modeling capacity of ansys, and the parameters of elastic modulus, poisson ration and density of material will be input into ansys.The elastic modulus is 200Gpa, the poisson ration is 0.3, and the density is 7800kg/m3.
In addition, according to the analysis, the joints between the crankshaft main journal and the crank arm, the connecting rod shaft neck and the crank arm that are susceptible to be damaged, and the mesh refinement technique is adopted at these locations.
The seventh mode shape of crankshaft Stress analysis of crankshaft Firstly, a three direction constraint is applied in the crankshaft main journal.
The results indicated that, the joints between the connecting rod journal and the crank arm is weak links on the first crank.
Therefore, measures of improving the stress state of the joints between the connecting rod journal and the crank arm should be considered in the process of design and improvement.
