Gyula Varga1, a 1University of Miskolc, Department of Production Engineering, H-3515, Miskolc, Egyetemvaros agyulavarga@uni-miskolc.hu Keywords: burnishing, environmentally friendly manufacturing, factorial experiment design, surface roughness Abstract.
The result of burnishing depends on some parameters, such as - burnishing parameters (technological parameters: speed, feed; force; number of passes), - burnishing tools (material: PCD, carbide, ceramic; shape: spherical, semi-cylindrical; dimension of the tip), - machine (type and rigidity of the lathe), and - lubricant (type and viscosity of the lubricant).
