Key words: spline shaft; Open die extrusion; The mold; Local upsetting
Abstract: in view of the 125 cc motorcycle transmission of spline shaft, spline is discussed in open die extrusion die structure characteristics and the influence of the spline forming mold springback problem, put forward the choice among the formability of open die extrusion into the die Angle, can avoid squeezing into the mold mouth occurs when local upsetting.
1.
The introduction Now with the method of open die cold extrusion forming of spline shaft has got wide attention both at home and abroad, the advanced technology has many characteristics, such as saving material, high quality, high efficiency.
The formability of spline open die extrusion experiment 3.1 the formability and calculation are put forward Spline when open mold squeeze in into the mold mouth is easy to appear the phenomenon of local upsetting, this is because the billet extrusion P per unit area is greater than the yield strength of material sigma S.

The DPs is composed by function parameters which mean what to do, structure
parameters which represent how to do and constraints which are restrictions about material, physical
rules and other attributes of the structures.
What kinds of Constraint equations are established is determined by the features of structures, which could be function, material and geometry.
