In this research, sintered ZrO2-Y2O3 insulating ceramics were subjected to EDM.
Sintered insulating ZrO2-Y2O3 ceramics were used as the workpiece.
ZrO2 insulating ceramics can be machined with the conventional electrical discharge machine using the assisting electrode method, which was proposed by the authors[4].
