Abstract.
Introduction Lithium tantalum oxide or LiTaO3 has been widely known as a good material in electrical and optical applications such as sensors, LASERs, waveguides, detectors, modulators, holographic memory, electro-optic devices and other engineering devices [1-3].
The conductivity value of LiTaO3 at room temperature is 1.2004 x 10-10 S.cm-1 and the material exhibits an Arrhenius type characteristic with the main conducting species believed to be Li+.

Experimental Materials Dimethyl succinate (DMSu) and dimethyl sebacate (DMSe) were purchased from Alfa Aesar Co.
