Material and method Jiaozhou Bay is located in the south of Shandong Province, eastern China (35°55′-36°18′ N, 120°04′-120°23′ E).
In April 1981, Pb contents were gradient decreasing from the west to the center of the bay, the reason was that Jimo Basin the west was one of the major agricultural areas (Fig. 2), and a large amount of plumbum-containing materials such as pesticide were applied in growing season of crops.
