Abstract.
Introduction In the last decade, two-photon absorption (TPA) process in organic materials plays a more and more important role in modern nonlinear optics and opto-electronics for its widely potential application in frequency upconvertion laser, optical limiting, biologic fluorescence imaging and micro electro mechanical systems (MEMS) [1-5].
TPA process takes the advantage of deeper penetration into organic materials with less light scatting effects, and the quadratic dependence of incident light intensity to confine the chemical and physical processes to a highly localized area of volume λ3 (λ is the wavelength of the incident laser beam) in the vicinity of focal point.

The experiment materials includes gingko cones with talks collected from hundred-year-old gingko trees growing on the campus of Zhejiang Agriculture and Forestry University, Yijin Area, and hickory nuts with talks collected from hickory nuts demonstration orchard, New Bridge Village, Lin’an, Zhejiang.
Therefore, the experiment materials can maintain freshness in the experiment process.
When the water ratio is comparatively large, the characters of the stalks are similar to the plastic materials.
