Because of the sword belt need to reach 1.277 m in the weft direction, cantilever length is large, so the sword with the selection of materials and jian head material selection is particularly important.
Elected with sword belt material is carbon fiber composite materials, the material young's modulus is E = 2.5 e11 pa, density of 2520 kg/m3.
Sword of 45 steel and carbon fiber materials with comparing it with carbon fiber material sword with better performance, but due to its advantages of cheap steel used in the practical application process of 45 steel more.

The values of the mechanical properties, included in the accompanying quality certificate, are: ultimate tensile strength Rm = 312 MPa, yield strength Rp0.2 = 157 MPa, elongation at break A5 = 9%, longitudinal modulus of elasticity E = 97 GPa; The analyzes, carried out in the Laboratory of Materials Science and Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Timisoara, show: • chemical composition: 85.16% Cu, 11.18% Sn, 0.4856% Zn, 0.7983% Pb, 0.5226% Fe, 0.6933% Ni, 0.2% Si, 0.0304% Mn, 0.0382% S, 0.0714% Sb, <0.003% P; • biphasic structure consisting of solid solution grains α and eutectoid grains (α + δ) [3].
From the point of view of the evolution of the shapes of MDE(t) curves, with linearization, starting from minute 45, Fig. 7, and with a slight decrease of the MDER(t) curve after the 105th minute, from the value of MDERmax = 0.317 µm / min to the final value of MDERmax = 0.302 µm / min, Fig.8, the bronze thus treated fits in the category of materials with good cavitation behavior and resistance, specific to the tests performed on this type of vibrating device [9-11].
- The shape of the MDER(t) curves, as evolution with the duration of the cavitation attack, is specific to the materials with good resistance to cavitation erosion, having the tendency to stabilize at the maximum value
