Abstract.
To meet the need of the miniaturization of ferroelectric materials particularly in microelectronic devices, the understanding of the size and surface effects on the polarization reversal in a ferroelectric thin film is greatly urgent [4].
The switching time is a key quantity, which is defined in several ways in the literatures.

Abstract. by studying steelmaking-casting-rolling production process, a mathematical model of integrated batch planning is established innovatively to minimize processing costs of whole line and computed by an intelligent optimization ant algorithm.
There remain 90,000 tons suitable for DHCR excluding the roasting roller material.
Under integrated mode of production, scheduling task is to determine the processing order and start time of each process, not only to meet the constraints of this process, but to match material requirements of the preceding and the following process [7].

Abstract.
Introduction COREX process, previously developed by Voest-AIpine and Korf Engineering, is a well proven technology for independence of coking coal and meeting environmental demands [1].
The shaft furnace, which is the key step of COREX process, has been mainly used for producing directly iron (DRI) from lump iron ores and pellets.

A feature-based multi-level process planning method that hybridizes knowledge engineering, Group Technology (GT) and intelligent decision-making algorithms is developed in the study to seek a global optimal process plan, as shown in Fig. 3.
Feature-based multi-level process planning The key procedures in the above intelligent process route planning include feature and GT-based process planning, intelligent processing method decision-making and operation sequencing optimization.
Taking cylindrical feature as an example, the available machining methods and their probabilities of being selected for machining a cylindrical feature instance, are graded and saved by the system as manufacturing knowledge according to such information as the dimension, tolerance and surface finish of the feature, as well as the heat treatment, batch size, material and blank state information.
