Three-roll Planetary Rolling Mill Motion Analysis and Test Research

Abstract: Against defects of three-roll fixed axis rolling mill caused by rolled piece rotating in process of rolling, presented three-roll planetary rolling scheme, designed the planetary transmission system structure, expounded planetary mill rolling process, analyzed movement relationship between planet carrier, roll and rolled piece according to planetary gear train transmission principle.
In above theoretical analysis, when calculating rolled piece rotational speed produced by roll planetary motion, suppose there is only pure rolling (no sliding) between roll and rolled piece, being influenced by rolled piece material, roll structure and other dynamic factors, the actual action is comparatively complicated, except rolling, there are different degrees of sliding (the sliding movement is little which is why it is not considered).
Specimen A: blank pipe φ32mm×φ21mm×10000mm (outer diameter × inner diameter × length), material is 10# steel, spiral finned tube specification after rolling is φ38mm×φ26mm×φ21mm× 3.4mm (fin tip diameter ×Root diameter × finned tube inner diameter × thread pitch); Specimen B: blank tube is made of aluminum, overall diameter is φ35mm×φ23mm×6000mm, spiral finned tube specification after rolling is φ51mm×φ27mm×φ23mm×4 mm.
