Abstract: In this paper, the research of Low-Noise Asphalt Pavement (LNAP) mix design with the crumb rubber has been studied, including materials selection, gradation selection, asphalt content selection, performance tests, and so on.
The LNAP pavement can get the low noise by the special material selection and mix design.

Materials and methods
The experiment was conducted on 16 cylindrical undisturbed soil samples, each approximately 50 mm high and 50 mm in diameter, collected from a vertisol (in FAO term) at Dashe village and Yuzai village in Zhangpu in 2008.09.09.
