Introduction
Recently, structural health monitoring ( SHM ) employing smart materials is gaining popularity in the civil engineering.
In order to explore the smart materials suitable for civil engineering, accordingly to solve the compatibility problem of the traditional smart materials and concrete structural materials, cement-based piezoelectric composite were fabricated by numerous scholars [1,2].

Keywords: Dynamic response, intermittent jointed rock mass, blast waves, fracture process,
sliding crack model.
Such being the case, the analysis of dynamic response of rock masses is important to rock engineering design and stability prediction.
The existence of structural planes determines the fracture mechanism and types, influences the engineering property of rock masses, thereby play an important role to the stability of them.
Engineering practices have shown that the instability and destroy of rock engineering always related to dynamic loads.
