Application of Value Engineering to the Ductility Design of RC Frame Columns with High Compression Ratio Guo Junqing 1, a, Fu Zhoucan 2,b 1School of Civil Engineering, Chang’an University, Xi’an, Shanxi, 710064, China 2Xiamen Torch Group Corporation Ltd., Xiamen, Fujian, 365001, China aguojunq101@sohu.com, bfuzhoucan20@163.com Key words: Value Engineering, High Compression Ratio, Concrete Frame Column, Ductility, Longitudinal Reinforcement, Tie.
The principles of value engineering were adopted to analyze the major factors affecting the ductility of reinforced concrete frame columns.
According to value engineering [3], therefore, this paper defines them as the three factors of ductility of frame columns, and are coded as A, B and C.
Their importance can be evaluated by using 04 grading method in value engineering.

Introduction Trailing cone method is widely used for aircraft airspeed calibration of civil aircraft, as Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulated.
SST [2] two equations model is a hybrid model of the standard k-ω and standard k-ε model, and it is widely used in engineering.
Parametric Design of Static Pressure Tube In general, civil and military aircraft flight Mach number is less than 1, and with the increase of Mach number, the density of gas changes larger.
So it can be used to implement the precision measurements of static pressure, and can be used for subsonic airspeed calibration of military and civil aircraft flight test.
