Abstract.
Numerical Example Jishixia Yellow River Bridge No.2 which is located in Xunhua country, Qinghai Province, a long-span prestressed concrete continuous rigid-frame bridge with the span of 65+105+60 m and with width of 8.5 m, is chosen to be an engineering example.
Conclusion In a word, the results of investigation meets the demands of practical engineering, which could be used as a reference while temperature effects of a box-girder bridge need to be considered in such special environment as Qinghai-Tibet plateau.
