In epitaxial graphene research, people usually disregard SiC as active material.
The ohmic contact to low-doped 6H-SiC can be explained by the low energy barrier of FB = 0.3 eV between epitaxial graphene and 6H-SiC [4] resulting from the work functions of both materials.

Introduction Concerning electronic excitation, many important systems show anisotropy such as familiar layered materials like graphite[1] and BN[2], non-central symmetric semiconductor compounds such as GaN[3], superconductors such as YBaCuO[4] and MgB2[5].
Some nanostructures such as nano-tubes and nano-onions can be considered as roll-up versions of layered materials (Fig.1a), so the local anisotropy also changes with position inside the nano-structured material.

Introduction Tungsten inert gas (TIG) welding is an arc welding process which has a vast application in manufacturing industry on various types of materials like aluminium, magnesium, titanium, steel and its alloys.
This is due to the scarcity of the material caused by partial evaporation of material and flow of molten material in the gap between the plates that increases with the increase in root gap.

Such substitution has been highlighted by the use of nanostructured ceramic materials with magnetic behavior.
Materials and Method The initial composition of the solution was based on the total valence of oxidizing and reducing reagents using concepts of the propellants and explosives chemical [5], so that the stoichiometry of the interest phase was established.
Conclusions According to the presented results we conclude that the combustion synthesis was efficient in obtaining of the magnetic nanoparticles type Ni0.5Zn0.5Fe2O4 because this one showed the expected phases and materials with nanometric features.
