Contractors establish indoor air quality control measures during construction and follow detailed specifications to meet sustainable the characteristics of “green” materials requirements.17 As of May, 2008, there were 41 state-level policies and incentives for green building enacted in 23 states and 141 local level incentives enacted in 32 states (USGBC, 2008c).

These boilers operate similarly to conventional ones by heating water to produce steam through the high-temperature combustion of waste materials in a furnace.
Conclusion The waste-to-energy steam boiler plays a pivotal role in generating sustainable energy from waste materials, providing an efficient and eco-friendly alternative to landfill disposal.
