The basic structure of flotation column which added the filling medium is shown in Figure 1.The inclined hole filling medium which is made by polyethylene material (see Figure 1),the angle of the inclined hole is 45 °,the aperture size is15×5×71mm, the opening rate is large and uniform, not easy to be blocked,filled with is easy, and low production cost.

The standard solution of L-tryptophan (P98%, Sigma–Aldrich) was employed for tryptophan-like material, whereas for humic-like and fulvic-like materials, standard solutions of Suwannee River humic (2S101H) and fulvic (2S101F) acids were from International Humic Substances Society.
The sensor signal showed great spatial and temporal variations in clean and polluted sites indicating a high contribution of PAHs in the harbours, a high contribution of tryptophan-like and humic-like materials in the sewage effluent.
This sensor is applicable to marine water for the detection of PAHs, tryptophan-like material and fulvic-like materials [23].Photoelectrochemical sensor with the detection of DNA damage can detect DNA damage via the change of photocurrent of the indicator.
