Test procedure In this research study, the GDS Automated Cyclic Triaxial Testing System made by England, was used to perform the strain-controlled cyclic triaxial tests. After constituting a specimen, deaired water was circulated through the specimen from the bottom to the top and suitable back pressure was applied in order to saturate the material.

Beginning
Build finite element model of the gear static thermal analysis
Calculate boundary condition of the gear static thermal analysis
Loading, and solving thermal analysis model
Posture, and get the temperature field (nodal temperature)
Change the name of the file and delete the thermal load
Write nodal temperature into nodal file
Define the material properties of gear
Switch thermal analysis element to structure analysis element (ETCHG, TTS)
Read temperature field solution result and apply to finite element model as structure load
Define match temperate (30℃) of accessory gearbox as reference temperature (TREF)
Build contact couple on the relevant meshing gear surface,
and recognize the same contact couple by real constant
Define relevant load of displacement and structure load
Save and solve structure analysis model
Posture the result
End

Introduction Recently, composite materials have attracted growing interest among the scientific and industrial community because of their use in a wide range of fields like aeronautics, automotive, civil engineering, etc.
During their lifetime, these materials undergo different loading cycles that may weaken and eventually damage them.

The length of the pin is correlated with the thickness of the materials to be joined.
When joining soft materials with hard materials by using friction stir lap welding, it is preferable, as the first step, to plunge the pin through the softer material to avoid damage to the pin.
