Starch (St) and acrylamide (AM) copolymers was prepared by aqueous solution polymerization, which as raw material finished hydroxyl methylation reaction, then condensation dehydration with dicyanodiamine, cationic starch graft flocculant is synthetized.

Cationic degrees (Dc) determination: regard cetyl pyridine bromide as the basis material, determine with polyvinyl alcohol potassium sulfate gel titration method.
Starch is main raw material of the self-made agent, which is low cost, has good environmental and economic benefits, and the preparation technology is simple, easy to popularize.
