Study on confined consolidation test of natural loess Dequan Kong 1, a, Rong Wan 2,b 1 School of Civil Engineering, Chang’an University, Xi’an 710061, China 2 Key laboratory of land and natural resources, School of Environ Science&Engineering, Chang’an University, Xi’an 710061 China akdq-mmg@163.com, bwanronghello@163.com, Key words: natural loess, confined compression, overconsolidated, structural.
As to arranged structural, loess, as large pore of material, in compression process part soil particles is crush, fall and fill to loess of gap among to, the forces and volume changes in the rebound process will change loess particles composition and pore of size and distribution, which makes soil particles arranged more close and pore get small and decreasing.
