The bandage is intended for fixing permanent magnets made of rare-earth materials.
Tests to determine the characteristics of strength and plasticity of welded materials and weld joints by tension were carried out on a universal testing machine Instron 5982 in accordance with ISO 6892 and Russian State Standard GOST 6996-66.
The results of testing samples cut from welded materials, weld joints without heat treatment and after the heat treatment (HT) are presented in Table 2, which shows the average values of the of strength and plasticity characteristics.
Horizontal lines on the graph indicate the levels of the ultimate tensile stress of the weld metal after welding and after the heat treatment, as well as EP517 steel as the less durable of the welded pair of materials.
