Abstract | Article | PDF (332 K) | View Record in Scopus Cited By in Scopus (35) The present study is focused also in the mechanism of chloride penetration in cementitious materials.
Chloride ions penetration in cementitious materials is one of the processes widely responsible for the degradation of concrete structures.
MATERIALS The materials used in this investigation were Portland cement, GGBS, aggregate, water and super plasticizer.
Portland cement (CPA-CEM-I / A 42.5) conforming to the Algerian standard NA 443 and GGBS were utilized as cementitious materials.

Introduction Advanced composite materials, like carbon fiber reinforced plastics (CFRP), stand out for their excellent characteristics such as lightness, high strength and high corrosion resistance.
The carbon fiber material [5] used is shown below
Future studies in this field will have to be multifaceted investigations of materials, structural and other matters related to durability evaluation.

Introduction Research on nano-crystalline materials has attracted much attention in recent years due to its unique properties.
The nano-crystalline materials often used in the fabrication of solar cells, light emitting diode, photocatalytic and many more.
The exciton properties of copper halogenide materials are greater than those of the materials belonging to the III-V and II-VI semiconductors.
The electrical properties of semiconductor materials are highly affected by the doping process.

Using Pro/E establish the solid model of oil-stone and oil-stone pedestal , then import the model into Ansysworkbench, according to the design requirements, oil-stone materials are SiC and Diamond, the material of oil-stone pedestal is 40Cr,the detail information see table 1.
So, using the higher hardness of oil-stone materials can decrease oil-stone's deformation and abrasion; self-driving ability of the higher hardness oilstone is not well. this will decrease honing quality of workpiece .
Taking honing quality and honing efficiency into consideration, during rough honing process, using the higher oil-stone materials, these kinds of oil-stone have follow characters :low abrasion, long serving life, could endure the higher speed and honing pressure ; during finish honing process, using common oil-stone materials, these kinds of oil-stone have good self-driving ability ,to make sure honing quality of workpiece surface.

Manganese is contained in the form of islands uniformly dispersed large mass of the base material.
Silicon is insignificant and appears only as an alloying element to the base material.
From the analysis of samples by electron microscopy SEM shows that if the heat treatment of pearlite grains are coarse classic uniformly distributed in the ferrite matrix therefore blade materials mechanical properties are reduced, the song has a good running, low durability and low mechanical strength.

And it has few standard material test methods.
The inner and outer carbon fiber composite materials in this paper, both are 104 material model of LS-DYNA3D (* MAT_DAMAGE_1), which is a damage failure constitutive model with the accumulation, based on the continuum damage theory and the Von Mises yield defined criteria.
This paper select the following material constants: , ,.
Because the relationship between the impact energy and the pit depth is most sensitive to composite materials’ impact resistance, it clearly reflects the toughness of composite material systems.

On of the most widely used electrode materials in electrocoagulation process is iron .When iron is used as anodes, upon oxidation in an electrolytic system, it produces iron hydroxide, Fe(OH)n where n = 2 or 3.
Therefore the appropriate selection of its materials is very important.
The most common electrode materials for electrocoagulation are iron and aluminum.

Considering the requirements of the economical use of materials, simple manufacture and installation, and easy transportation, the shaft section length is taken as L = 7.5 m.
It can be found that the proposal 1 using steel pipe material is more economical after a comparative analysis.
Besides, the materials used for the foundation are less as the main structure is lighter in proposal 1.
