German scholar M.Kronenberg is the first one to study the relationship between the type of cut and damage in end-milling,he believes,S cut type and STUV cut type,the tool breakage is more serious,U cut type and UV cut type ,the tool breakage is lighter.But no matter what contact form,when the tool cut into the workpiece,beause the blade is not sharp ,the tool will push the cutting lay material but not shear the materia,this will cause a lot of impact in the process of cutting into the workpiece[1].End milling cutter cutting into workpiece is shown in Fig.1.
The experiment and result analysis of the system Design of experiment By collecting and analysing the experimental result,realizing the machine tool's cutting force signal on-line in order to provide the basis for tool selection.There are many factors can influence the milling force:workpiece materials,cutting parameters,cutter geometrical parameters,tool wear,etc.NC milling machine's cutting parameters include cutting speed vc,feed speed vf,back engagement ap and working engagement ac.The method of choosing cutting parameters allows for tool durability, first choose back engagement or working engagement,then determine the feed speed, finally determine the cutting speed.
