What has gained that served as scientific bases and technical guidance for underground cavities extending and reconstruction engineering.
1 Introduction
In recent years, due to the development of economy, society, science and technology, many engineering problems caused by the extending of underground cavities frequently appear in areas such as water conservancy, transportation, warehousing .most of the over-expanded type is used for extending of underground engineering (Figure 1) .using this construction scheme, is small disturbanc of surrounding rock, lower displacement value, easy of application.of the surrounding rock by this method of extending, the original lining in instability of surrounding rock in the aftermath of the demolition of the possibility of more, need to temporary support treatment, will make the project cost have increased.
In computing, material constitutive relation of surrounding rock Drucker - Prager (D, P) model is adopted, to compute the cavity structure and formation in the process of extend the nonlinear deformation characteristics.

In practical engineering, we cannot guarantee the geo-membrane to completely cover the slope, which is affected by the construction; the material properties lead to geo-membrane surface appear holes, so the essence of function is cut down.

The former has difficulties in removing gate freezing material, and the latter is much more complex than the previous structure.
