Right now, there are four main kinds of subsidies in the agricultural fields, including direct subsidies for grain producers, subsidies for agricultural materials, subsidies for superior crop varieties, subsidies for the purchase of agricultural machinery and tools.
Among the four subsidies, the subsidies for agricultural materials have direct effect on the policy.
It is aimed to compensate the increase of material prices.
To some extent, the price compensation will reduce the real price farmers pay for the agricultural materials, which means the subsidies will further reduces the little effect of the fertilizer tax.
