The earliest studies about contact was proposed by Hertz and a Hertzian contact model was presented with the assumption of ideal hemisphere, elastic deformation[1].The Hertzian model is only valid for the situation of isotropic materials and small deformation.
In this paper, the Greenwood and Williamson’s model is employed as the elasto-plastic constitution of the materials.
