Raw Materials.
In the cement-based materials, the polymer film formed is a flexible elastic material, which provides a certain amount of buffer space for the unhydrated cement to continue hydrating, it not only absorbs the internal stress of the cement-based materials, but also enhance the density of cement-based materials.
It can be concluded from the testing results that polymer modification not only increases the strength properties of the RPC materials, but also significantly improves the water resistance of the RPC materials, which is also much better than that of the MDF cement-based materials.
Therefore, on the basis of RPC materials, the appropriate polymer modification is an effective method to improve the water resistance of the high-strength cement-based materials
