Abstract.
Regarding the quantification of char during the processes, if a reaction is concerned with polymer materials like the former case, the pyrolysis of scrap tires, it is easy to deal with materials of low firing temperature enough to burn out.
Therefore, it is necessary to find out a solution for the separation of char from other materials and the quantitative measurement of char in their mixture with coke and others.
With increasing heat treatment of materials, the fixed carbon content of them increased coal, char and coke, in the order.
For the improvement of reliability on char content using this method, there are some points to be considered: 1) Powder size and distribution: Classification of raw materials needs.

Blickwedel and Kovacevic [9] confirmed this result for cutting different materials by injection-abrasive waterjet.
Conventional machining approaches might not always be suitable as they demand dedicated tooling to generate 3D features in such difficult-to-cut materials.
AWJ is a well utilized approach for machining Al2O3 ceramics at high material removal rate with the balance between the materials removal rate (MRR) and the level of near-surface damage.

Introduction
With the rapidly development of economy and the improvement of people’s living standards, a large number of new-type decorative building materials have come into families.
Materials and methods The questionnaire survey was carried out in 2012 on 150 children in a primary school in Chaoyang District of Beijing.
These materials will definitely distribute harmful substances [4] that pose a threat to human health.
Decoration materials and smoking indoors also have a certain effect on children’s respiratory system health.

The soil that particle diameter is greater than 0.075mm and the mass ratio is more than 50% is defined as coarse-grained soil by the corps of engineers, bureau of reclamation and society for testing materials [1].
With the improvement of design ability, construction technology and material test level in water resources and hydropower engineering, the limitation to dam materials have more breakthroughs and relaxation.
Under the condition of fine content P5≧30%, when the fines content P5 increases, the pore between the coarse material is filled with fine material, even some of the coarse material is distracted by fine material.

Gibson summarized the use of the modal vibration response measurements to characterise the mechanical properties of fibre reinforced composite materials and structures [2,3] and also affirmed that modal testing by impulse excitation method is a fast and accurate approach to characterise the global elastic constants of composite material.

Combined with the application of these two enhanced methods, the cutting of such materials has a very obvious effect on the improvement of surface roughness, the reduction of cutting force and the extension of tool life.
Laser-assisted machining (LAM) is a kind of thermally assisted machining, in which the material is preheated by a laser spot prior to the workpiece material removal, and the material is subsequently removed plastically by a cutting-tool as shown in Fig. 2.
LAM has been well known as a noncontact machining method and has been applied to various difficult-to-cut materials such as hardened and brittle material, i.e., titanium alloys, super-alloys, structural ceramics, etc.
