Meanwhile, compared with Rigid-Plastic FEM, Rigid-ViscoPlastic FEM considers the influence of deformation velocity on the material flow stress in constitutive equation, which can reflect the true plastic deformation process of materials [1-4].
DEFORM software provides different methods to define the materials flow stress [7]: 1) Power law, 2) Tabular data format, 3) Flow stress for aluminum alloys (Type 1), 4) Flow stress for aluminum alloys (Type 2), 5) Linear hardening, and 6) User defined flow stress routine.
It shall be noted that when the simulation conditions of materials exceeds the bounds of the strain, strain rate or temperature defined in the tabular data, the program will extrapolate based on the last two data points which may lead to loss of accuracy.

Hence, there are still difficulties to be solved in applying MQL to the cutting of difficult-to-machine materials, which cause severe tool damages resulting in short tool service life due to their material properties of high strength, low thermal conductivity, high affinity to cutting tools, high strain hardening, etc [4].
It also suggests that the increase in cutting temperature to some extent is necessary to cause the thermal softening of the workpiece of heat resistant materials in the shear zone and at the tool tip.
