Finite Element Model Reconstruction of Bone Structures
In this research trabecular (cancellous) bone was analyzed at the metaphyses of four different species including rat, rabbit, chicken, and sheep with n = 1 per species.
Due to the differences in sample and trabecular bone sizes in the different species we implemented an adapted nominal resolution (isotropic voxel dimension) for each bone according to Bouxsein et al. [16].
Material Al 6061 properties were applied for the FE analysis.

In this work, the NdFeB permanent magnets, with chemical compositions as followed (at %): Nd: 6.7-14, Fe: 66-80, B: 6-14, Al: <1-4, Pr: <1-3, Dy: <1-8, Tb: <0.5-3, has excellent magnetic properties [14, 15], and the maximum energy products (BH), intrinsic coercivity (Hci), remanence (Br), and coercivity (Hc) of the magnets were 278-318 KJ·m-3, 870-2500 KA·m-1, 1.1-1.4 T, 840-2390 KA·m-1, respectively.
The EDX analysis indicated that the formed a weak contrast Nd-rich phase, marked as point ‘‘1’’, ‘‘3’’, ‘‘5’’, ‘‘6’’, ‘‘8’’, was rich in Fe, Nd, Pr, and Al.
