Some examples here include: (a) UoC Science Annex, (b)14 Hazeldean Rd, Addington, Christchurch 8024, (c) 254 Montreal Street, (d) PwC Centre, Cambridge Terrace.
Details of the brace end connections are shown in Figure 3 from (a) 254 Montreal Street, (b) NE corner Lichfield and Colombo Street, (c) PwC centre, (d) UoC Science Annex.
This is quite a different philosophy than that used in the UoC Science Annex (Figure 3d), for example, where drag struts were used to carry beam axial forces.
It is interesting to note though, that even though the same issues exist with post-tensioned beam systems with other materials, they have been used in some of buildings.

Introduction
Recent development of construction materials has been focused on "eco-building materials".
In reality, this means the use of technologies with the lowest possible energy intensity, renewable raw materials, recycled and recyclable materials, the use of local resources and industrial waste materials.
Research teams keep looking for new ways of the utilization of these waste materials in various areas of construction materials.
When natural materials are completely and/or partially replaced with waste materials in the construction material segment, it brings savings for landfilling of these waste materials, protection of raw material resources and the environment and, ultimately, price decrease in comparison with the price of products based on natural raw materials.

Development
of a clinically useful small diameter TEBV will surely rely on techniques from a wide variety of
disciplines, ranging from molecular and cell biology and biochemistry to material science and
biomechanics.
In addition, it is reasonable to assume that the material properties of the individual constituents may also change with culture time.

The resulting deformation of the material, which is, bending toward the laser beam, is
permanent.
The assumptions made for the numerical modeling are as follows: The workpiece materials are isotropic; the laser works in a continuous wave mode; no melting occurs in the laser forming process and no external forces are applied to sheet metal.

The fabrication methods used to construct the conduit should be cost-effective, simple, and easily applied to a wide variety of materials.
Various materials such as nerve growth factors, platelet degradation products, stem cells may be used to fill the conduit and see if it facilitates the regeneration of nerve in future studies.
