Abstract: To improve farmland water use efficiency in the semi-arid area, the field experiment of whole film covering with the spring maize was conducted.
Materials and methods Study area This study was conducted from April 2010 to October 2011 in Fuxin City (41°41N~42°56N and 121°01E~122°56E), western Liaoning province of China.

Results and Discussions
