CMP process can create flat,
damage-free surfaces on a variety of brittle materials efficiently by abundant slurry that interacts
both chemically and mechanically with the surface being polished.
LiTaO3 crystal is a kind of brittle material, which has low fracture toughness.

Organic compounds are widely used as donor materials.
However it is rarely found that study of donor materials adding in the anode electrolyte effect on TiO2 nanotube arrays photoelctrocatalytic water splitting.
The results show that the organic donor materials enhance the photocurrent response and reduce the internal resistance of TiO2 nanotube arrays photoanode with optimal donor material of ethylene glycol.

These microfluidic active devices, fabricated by soft lithography techniques using PDMS (polydimethylsiloxane)-based materials, consist of micromixers, microvalves, micropumps, etc.
The pneumatic actuators are preferably applied in elastic materials, such as PDMS-based systems.
The PDMS elastomeric membrane is modelled as a near-incompressible Neo-Hookean material, a constitutive model which describes the behaviour of rubber-like materials undergoing large deformations [7].
Quake: submitted to Journal of Science (2000) [13] C.

In this experiment, the andalusite ore materials were obtained from Long Qin Mining Inc Mei County, Shaanxi, and the corundum was bought from market.
To confirm this, andalusite ore material was analyzed by the X-ray diffraction, and the analyzed results manifested that the andalusite ore materials indeed contained some corundum and quartz.
The XRD patterns of andalusite ore materials is shown in Figure.2.

Keywords: Laterite, geomechanical properties, masonry for traditional housing, finite element method and analytical approach, European structural design codes.
However, the construction using local materials, in the developed countries, became marginal.
These techniques were abandoned because it is not possible to standardize the composition of materials because it varies locally.
One aim of the project was to build using locally materials, priority laterite materials.
