Abstract: In this paper, a hybrid approach associated the Preisach concept with support vector machines (SVM) is brought forward to identify and predict the nonlinear behavior of piezoelectric actuators (PA). Preisach concept is used to construct mesh nodes in the Preisach plane and determine the final output displacement of PA. SVM is trained based on the mesh nodes and provides favorable generalization ability in the Preisach plane. Experimental results validate the proposed method.

Abstract: Large depth of field and uniform axial intensity distributions are important in many practical applications. Lots of optical elements have been proposed for this end, such as full-aperture logarithmic axicons (LAs), annular-aperture LAs and apodized annular-aperture LAs. In millimeter/submillimeter (mm/submm) range, the refractive-diffractive behaviors (including transverse and longitudinal intensity distributions) behind these axicons illuminated by a plane wave are calculated by rigorous electromagnetic analysis method in our paper. Many important features of these axicons are concluded by comparing their refractive-diffractive field distributions

Abstract: There are many inherent nonlinear characteristics in piezoceramics material, which result in roll off, phase lag and deteriorate the tracking accuracy in dynamic applications. To improve dynamics, a waveshaping technique is put forth, which is based on fast Fourier transform algorithm, and software to shape the control signals. Using information gathered from frequency response and harmonic analysis with the original control signal applied, new track is calculated to compensate for the system nonlinearity. Experimental results indicate that the proposed waveshaping technique is more effective than the traditional control methods.

Abstract: An apodized annular-aperture logarithmic axicon (3ALA) can be applied potentially to improve imaging resolution in quasi-optical and/or millimeter wave imaging systems, due to its property of long depth of field (DOF). Electromagnetic analyses of forward and backward 3ALAs are conducted respectively at mm- and submm-wavebands. Their lateral and axial intensity distributions are evaluated by rigorous electromagnetic analysis method. And the comparative conclusions are drawn at last in our present work

Abstract: Energy-saving and emission reduction is the based policy of China. Energy-saving dispatching is a new generation optimized method combined with the aim of energy-saving and emission reduction. At present, the trial energy-saving dispatching in some area evaluate energy-saving and emission reduction of coal combustion power generation according to power supply coal consumption rate only. But the power supply coal consumption rate can’t overall reflect the energy-saving and emission reduction effect of coal combustion power plant. This paper selects the power supply coal consumption rate, auxiliary power ratio, SO2 and NOx emission, EAF, net loss and water consumption as the energy-saving dispatching index, adopts particle swarm optimization method, carries the order integrate index, provides the reference for energy-saving dispatching.

Abstract: Cancer boundary detection is an important prior task in cancer diagnosis, which will help to manage the next treatment and operation. Active shape model is proposed to solve this problem as a promising technique. But for segmentation tasks with background interference or cases such as organs with similar gray scale values, it does not always match the target contours as well as expect. This paper proposes an active shape model technique using center-focus method to robustly match the target boundaries. The algorithm has been applied on CT slices containing prostate or bladder to demonstrate the good performance of object segmentation

Abstract: Coal-fired to generate electric power is the primary method in China and it occupies about 80% generation portions. Therefore, it is necessary to increase power generation efficiency and reduce related pollution in order to conserve energy and resources. In certain regions of China, energy saving oriented dispatch is under test, which only uses coal consumption rate for power supply as the indicator of energy saving. But coal consumption rate for power supply itself doesn’t show the whole picture of energy saving and emission reduction of coal combustion power plants. This paper selects the coal consumption for power supply, SO2 and NOx emission, EAF, net loss and water consumption as the energy-saving dispatching index, adopts emergy analysis method, carries the order integrate index, provides the reference for energy-saving dispatching.

Abstract: A designed method of portable virtual oscilloscope with USB interface is proposed in this paper. The programmable gain amplifier (attenuator) circuit is used to adjust the different range of inputting signal to the A/D converter's. The A/D convert is realized by using ADS830E, which is a chip with maxim 60MHz sample rate and 8-bit data width. CY7C68013A, one chip of EZ-USB FX2 series, is used to achieve the data transfer to computer in block mode. The FPGA is programmed as an external host controller to control the gain amplification and attenuation circuit, and provide the sample clock for high-speed A/D converter ADS830E, and send the data to the Slave-FIFO. Application software is designed with VC++ platform to calculate and display the received data graphically.

Abstract: Wind speed data acquisition and processing system for mine fan speed test based on ATmega128L-8AU single-chip microcomputer is introduced in this paper.The wireless data transmission module SIM300 is applied to the system,which can achieve the wireless transmission of measured data. The system can be controlled by users at the receiving end. The system avoids the complicated on-site connection, shows superiority in application flexibility,improves the working efficiency and reduces costs

Abstract: This paper studies geology exploration problems of tunnel excavate process when geological conditions changed. The paper uses Beam test equipment based on AC induced polarization as a simulation model. Ansoft electric field simulation software is applied. It analyzes the electric field distribution of three-dimensional geological based on AC induced polarization, draws out potential diagram of the voltage distribution changing in geological conditions. When exciting field and geological conditions changed, the difference of exploration results is simulated. The geological prediction theory of Beam is better understood. Simulation results help to research the real-time detection of abnormal response characteristics and detection results of the interpretation.
