Abstract: The effect of color shading-nets (red net, blue net and silver net) and ordinary black net on plant growth and nutrient uptake of flowering Chinese cabbage (Brassica campestris L. ssp. chinensis var. utilis Tsen et Lee) were studied, with no net shading as the control. The results indicated that, compared with the control, red net covering increased plant height, leaf area and stem diameter of flowering Chinese cabbage. Red and blue nets covering enhanced the above ground fresh weight, while the silver and black nets covering decreased the above ground fresh weight. Shading net covering significantly improved the nitrogen (N) and potassium (K) content of flowering Chinese cabbage, while it had no significant effect on the phosphorus (P) content. Red and blue nets covering enhanced mineral nutrients uptake, while it was decreased under silver and black nets covering. Red and blue nets covering promoted plant growth and nutrients uptake of flowering Chinese cabbage and could be widely applied in leaf vegetable production.

Abstract: To detect moving pedestrians in video surveillance rapidly and accurately, the pedestrian detection process is divided into two stages: motion detection stage and classification stage. In the motion detection stage motion detection is exploited to rapidly get the motion regions. By getting these interesting regions which may contain pedestrians, the regions used for next stage are greatly reduced and the whole pedestrian detection speed is improved. In the classification stage HOG features are used to classify interesting regions into pedestrian region and non-pedestrian region. In the motion detection stage, an improved frame differential method is used. The threshold changes with the pixel value changes and can adapt to the environment change, such as background difference, lightness change and motion speed. In the classification stage, an improved HOG method is used. Multi-scale HOG features are used to get better performance and Adaboost algorithm is used to train cascaded classifier for a higher detection speed. To evaluate the performance of our method, we test it on several video sequences taken from different scenes. Experiment results show that our method achieves good performance with an average over 90% detection rate. And our method can process over 20 frames per second and satisfies the demand for real-time task

Abstract: Effect of ammonium and nitrate ratio (0:100, 25:75, 50:50 and 75:25) on nutritional quality of Chinese kale (Brassica alboglabra Bailey) with 3 cultivars were studied in hydroponics. The results indicated that, the Vitamin C content in product organ (leaf and stalk) of Chinese kale was decreased by the enhancement of ammonium in nutrient solution, and the decrease was not significant for 25% enhancement of ammonium. 25% ammonium enhancement increased the soluble sugar content in product organ significantly, compared with other treatments. Free amino acids and protein content of Chinese kale increased gradually with the increasing of ammonium proportion in nutrient solution. Integrated nutritional quality of Chinese kale in 25% ammonium enhancement treatment was better than others under hydroponics condition.

Abstract: As an important apparatus of pressure vessel, sealing head, has an important role in petroleum industry, chemical industry and atomic energy industry. Sealing head of internal pressure vessels can be divided into three main types, which are convex head, conical needles head, flat head, respectively. Different heads have different calculating method to get the basic parameters and the most design formula of heads are established on the basis of membrane of the stress, and add the stress enhancement factor into the formula for the stress of the edge.therefore. In this study, the author have listed the calculating equations of the typical heads. At last, the author puts forward an example of head calculation to demonstrate the design method

Abstract: Finite element analysis is an advanced technology, by which a complicated engineering problem can be solved by theory analysis. Firstly, we build a 3D model of a hydraulic component under 3D software environment. Then the component model is load into FEA module. Subsequently, the model is meshed and set the outer loading. At last, the analysis step is conducted and get the result. The result showed the optimized structure of component. It assumed that the study result have some value for further improved design

Abstract: It was considered the radar multi-level gear of the servo-mechanical system as a single stage by a combination of gear mesh unit and established a single stage gear meshing element model. It selected the transmission system parameters of the mechanical properties and established a servo-mechanical transmission system dynamic model. The simulation research was done by using Matlab. The results proved that the model of radar servo mechanical system was right. At the same time, it analyzed the effect of the nonlinear backlash factors on system performance.

Abstract: Inner Mongolia Autonomous became the first coal-producing province for consumption in 2009. Thus forecast for such resource in an economic development is relevant. This research work investigates several forecasting methods used to predicl the total output of raw coal that scholars at home and abroad have outlined based on the coal production in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. We tried to study the differences obtained in various results, discusses its merits and demerits that will serve as a guide to analyzing various methods and proposes a reliable solution to predict future results for coal production in the above mentioned region.

Abstract: This paper discusses the problems of robust stabilization of stochastic systems with parametric uncertainties and time delay in control input. The parametric uncertainties which appear in all system matrices are assumed to be norm bounded. The delay-dependent stabilization condition is derived by taking the relationships between terms in the Leibniz-Newton formula into account. Free-weighting matrices are employed to express these relationship, and the sufficient stabilization condition is formulated in terms of linear matrix inequality (LMI) based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii theory, which can be solved by LMI toolbox in Matlab
