Abstract: The extended surface is used to enhance paraffin/air heat transfer because of the paraffin’s poor thermal conductivity, and the heat storing and releasing capacity of paraffin heat storage layer with variety of extended surface are compared by numerical simulation. The results show that: the heat storage layer with vertical rectangular fin extended surface has stronger ability on the heat storage and release, and can more effectively improve the air flow velocity in the solar chimney power plant system with vertical heat collector. Due to the restrictions of manufacturing, the heat storage and release capacity is stronger when the heat storage layer surface area with vertical rectangular fin is from 3.4 times to 5.8 times compare to the flat-plate heat storage layer.

Abstract: The three-dimensional axial symmetry FEA (finite-element analysis) model is established for 165/70R13 type tire based on ANSYS Workbench FEA software, and numerical simulation at temperature field is implemented, which reflects the temperature distribution at each part of tire intuitively, and has a certain guiding significance of improving tire structure and design.

Abstract: The paper is used to analyze the structure of traditional synchronous rotor from the perspective which the helix angle between long edge and short edge has some difference. The specialized viscoelastic fluid software--Polyflow is used to dynamic simulation analyze the two different kinds of rotors during the process of flow mixing, and then to analyze the two kinds of rotor performance through the result of transient flow simulation which mixed for one second. The analysis revealed that the improved synchronous rotor had better axial tensile properties in the case of remaining the original performance basically unchanged. And that could improve mixing performance and the production efficiency of mixer more effectively. There will provide a theoretical basis for the optimization of the rotor configuration in future.

Abstract: Because the brake and turn of automobile is completed by transmitting the force and torque to the ground through the tire, tires can influence the handling and stability of automobile. The impact of the unloaded radius of tire on the handling and stability of automobile was studied on the basis of ADAMS/CAR in this paper. The unloaded radius of tire was only changed and other parameters remain unchanged, then full vehicle analysis was carried out to get the simulation curves. The impact of the unloaded radius of tires on the handling and stability of automobile was obtained from the curve of simulation. The results of simulation are conducive to designing the shape and dimension of tires.

Abstract: The chaotic mixing prediction model was established based on RBF neural network and the chaotic mixing process of internal mixing. Training process indicates the method has powerful approaching ability, classing ability and convergence. Actual experiment results verified validity and veracity of this method.

Abstract: This paper introduced a new co-extrusion process which could increase layers by lamination-torsion-combination of polymer melt. The in-mold laminating technology was a kind of microlayed co-extrusion technology. The feasibility of the new technology on processing of polymer was validated. Conductive polypropylene filled with carbon black/polypropylene (PPCB/PP) composites was prepared using the novel device, the effects of processing parameters on conductivity of composites were researched. The results showed that the percolation threshold can decrease greatly.

Abstract: Surface tension is one of the main physical parameters of foams. The surface tension of Sodium Dodecyl Benzene Sulfonate (SDBS)solution and Triton solution are measured by the drop volume method, and at the same time CO2 saturated SDBS solution is also measured in this paper. It is found the solution concentration has an obvious effect on the surface tension. For SDBS solution, the surface tension gradually decreases with the increase of surfactant concentration while keeps constant after a certain concentration. For Triton solution, on the other hand, the surface tension always remains approximately constant in the studied concentration region. The surface tension of CO2 saturated SDBS solution is slightly higher than SDBS solution through experimental investigations.

Abstract: In this paper, the domestic and foreign research progress of numerical simulation on the porous fence is introduced briefly, and a numerical model is established to simulate the flow characteristics behind the butterfly porous fence through the FLUENT software. The comparison results found good agreement between the numerical model and wind tunnel experimental data with an error of 7.8% in the wind reduction ratio, indicating the present numerical model can be used to undertake study on butterfly and non-planar porous fences. The effect of porosity on the flow characteristics behind the butterfly porous fence have been evaluated using the present model to determine an optimum porosity for sheltering effect of an isolated porous fence. As a result, the butterfly porous fences with a range of porosity from 0.27 to 0.32 seem to have a better shelter effect among the studied porosities, and all the wind reduction ratios approach to 60%.

Abstract: By using DEFORM-3D to simulate the turing process of the tire active mold segment, the stress distribution, temperature distribution, strain distribution and cutting force transformation of turning tool and work-piece can be explored. The simulation results are helpful to configure the material and shape of the turning tools. Also the results play an important role in reducing development cost of the segment manufacturing technology and improving the accuracy and the lifetime of the mould segment.

Abstract: Recycled rubber powder modified asphalt is the trend of road asphalt, and rubber power is low cost, high performance modifier. In this experiment, by analyzing the equivalent softening point and equivalent crisp point, uses orthogonal experiment to obtain the formula that made the pavement property of recycled tire rubber powder modified asphalt for optimal.
