Comparative Study on the Probability Model of the Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete Beam

Article Preview

Abstract:

Based on a large number of experiments, two-parameter and three-parameter Weibull distribution probability models have been established to study the flexural fatigue with different kinds of glass fiber contents (0%,0.6%,0.8%,1%) and different stress levels(0.7,0.75,0.8)in this paper. It is the S-N Curve and P-S-N Curve that we have obtained. According to the comparison of two probability models, We can see that the fatigue life of glass fiber concrete beam can preferably obey two-parameter and three-parameter Weibull distribution, but the three-parameter Weibull distribution is so much the better. The fatigue life will augment with the increase of the volume fraction of glass fiber.
