Abstract:

The paper describes the status of the energy saving reconstruction of existing buildings external window at home and abroad. on the base of analyzing the heat transfer characteristics and the factors influencing on energy saving of building windows. Effective measures of energy saving reconstruction for existing building windows were established, and these measures include improvement of seal of window, change window sash, increase the window sash, posted on energy-saving membrane in the window, replaced by energy saving window. Energy saving effect of these measures were analyzed. It could be considered as the useful reference for renovation design of similar projects.
