Web Roaming of 3D Taiwan Island Based on Skyline Prototype System

Article Preview

Abstract:

The combination of the 3D reconstruction and the internet boosts well as WebGIS. Based on Skyline prototype system, this paper studies the basic 3D environment construction and the mechanism and techniques to speed up the respond on the client side of web roaming in 3D Taiwan Island. This paper then implements a 3D Taiwan Island roaming system on local area network. The respond speed proves to be quick for web roaming of a 3D environment.
