Taking the curtain wall design of Guangzhou Fortune Plaza, a high-rise in Guangzhou, as example, this paper discusses the technical approach for improving energy-efficient performance of curtain wall in terms of energy-efficient glass selection, the design of external sun-shading elements and the construction detail that can facilitate the natural ventilation, so as to enhance acclimatization of curtain wall in Lingnan Area
