Demolition of a Complex Brick-Structure Chimney with a Height of 56 Meters without Recoil by Demolitional Blasting

Article Preview

Abstract:

A complex brick-structure chimney with a height of 56 meters was successfully demolished without recoil through directional blasting in complicated environment. Some effective measures that helped control the direction of collapse and avoid recoil were taken in the demolition of brick chimney. The calculation principle and method of blasting cut is elaborated. The blasting is satisfactory.
