Synthesis of ZnIn2S4 via a Surfactant-Assisted Hydrothermal Method and their Visible Light Photocatalytic Properties of MO Degradation
Abstract:
A series of ZnIn2S4 photocatalysts were synthesized via a surfactant-assisted hydrothermal method at 120 °C for 6h. The products were characterized with X-ray diffraction (XRD), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectra (DRS) and field emission scanning electron microscope. The results indicated that the series of samples have similar profiles in the XRD and DRS detection. The addition of surfactants were not promote the regular and uniform marigold-like microspheres morphology. The photocatalytic activities of the as-prepared samples were evaluated by photocatalytic degradation of methyl orange solution under visible light irradiation.
