The Study on Rainfall Threshold Induced Landslides in Yucheng District by Binary Logistic Model

Article Preview

Abstract:

Ya’an Yucheng District intituled “rain city” or “heavens poured” lies to the west of Sichuan Basin. Most of the landslides take place in the raining season with the shallow layer, small scale. This paper analyzes a great deal of dates of landslides and rainfall in the history in Yucheng District using binary logistic regression model. The results indicate that the rainfall of that day’s and personnel 3 days’ with landslide is closely related. Based on the analyses, the predict formula of landslide rate and the design formula of rainfall threshold are built, which is important to early warn and forecast the landslide in the research area.
