Abstract: We propose a weighted least-squares-based halftoning model from human vision system(HVS) model and an efficient iterative strategy using gray image statistical information. First, the gray image is partitioned into several finite regions using clustering segmentation method. Next, the statistics of the mean and variance of the gray-scale pixel of each clustering are calculated. Finally, the new energy function is constructed using the weighted least squares method, which the reciprocal of the variance of the segmented regions are referred to as the weighting operator. Our method also incorporates a measurement based printer dot interaction model to prevent the artifacts due to dot overlap and to improve texture quality. The analysis and simulation results show that the proposed algorithm produces better gray-scale halftone image quality when we increase the number of clustering with a certain range. A performance measure for halftone images is used to evaluate our algorithm. The value of MSEv and PSNR for the partitions regions that the proposed algorithm achieves consistently better values of MSEv and PSNR than the LSMB algorithm. After four iterations of the algorithm of the proposed algorithm, the convergence error dropped to 0.25.

Abstract: Software faults are the underlying and important roots which result in the mistake, failure and even breakdown of system. Therefore, the software fault diagnosis is a challenging problem and fault diagnosis technique is very significant to software quality assurance. Multi-Agent have autonomy, intelligence and social ability, which is well-suited for diagnosing software systems, and which can easily be integrated with existing software fault diagnosis schemes. In this paper we describe a novel architecture based on Multi-Agent for software fault diagnosis. We implement a software diagnosis based on this architecture and demonstrate its high diagnostic accuracy and effectiveness in an experiment with realistic software intensive equipment.

Abstract: The rapid development of Web 2.0 leads scripting language such as JavaScript to be ubiquitous in web pages; however the dynamic nature and flexibility of JavaScript make its development, debugging, maintenance, and reuse difficult. To improve the efficiency and accuracy of JavaSript security analysis, we propose a new JavaScript analysis method based on program slicing, together with a prototype-implemented JavaScript slicing tool, named JSSlicer. We also present a proof-of-concept application example of JSSlicer where an example of the common mode failure problem is tackled.

Abstract: Combinatorial testing has lots of test cases, but software testers hope to get the best test coverage with the smallest test case suite. For the scale of produced test cases is so large that researchers have considered the implementation of the critical test cases. This article researches the classic combinatorial test methods and proposes methods to generate pair-wise testing cases with a priority. Firstly, we design formulas to compute the weights of priorities. Secondly, we adopt a greed algorithm to solve the combinatorial testing problems. Furthermore, we integrate the greed strategy into a genetic algorithm to improve the efficiency. It improves the testing efficiency while securing the detection rate of defects under limited resources.

Abstract: Software architecture always exists in the target system although agile methodology (AM) weakens the design documents of the software architecture, and it will be improved continually as iteration process. The changes of business process and customer requirements should be dealt with in time. Therefore, it is essential that the stages of architecture evolution are explored in each release plan. The main hierarchy of architecture evolution is shown, the relationship between user stories and components is presented, and a method to support architecture evolution is given.

Abstract: In order to provide more convenient options for users and developers, the design of Human Machine Interface (HMI) based on ARM and embedded Linux is put forward. It makes full use of multiple peripherals of ARM and flexibility of Linux OS. Firstly, hardware design of the HMI system is presented. Then methods of embedded Linux transplanting and the device drivers programming are discussed. Finally, running results and applications of the designed HMI are considered. The design combines the features of traditional HMI and Micro Control Unit (MCU) HMI, including low cost, rich interfaces and easy programming.

Abstract: With the rapid development of power industry in recent years, the grid information technology and intelligent building is also ongoing a fast growth which brings more pilot projects and integrated projects. Because of the growing number and types of projects, it is increasingly difficult to evaluate whether the project can meet customer needs, whether the contractor is capable to undertake the projects and whether the projects are suitable for the integration of construction. This paper analyzed on the basis of the characteristics of power grid projects, combined with the basic flow of software project test and proposes a project test quantification evaluation method of project test based on multi-computing. This method achieves the quantitative appraisal of projects, selecting the best project contractor and improving the quality of the project completion through test case scores quantification and multi-computing test scores.

Abstract: The existing software borne by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) is mostly made up of functional modules with a simple design for meeting its functional requirements, thus being unable for the UAV to meet the requirements for its software to be intelligent, integrated and credible. To meet the requirements for the new-type UAV to be functionally varied, highly autonomous and intelligent, we construct the intelligent database and the network-adaptive and real-time middleware so as to greatly enhance the intelligence of the UAV-borne software and the autonomous flight capability of the UAV, paving a firm foundation for enhancing the functional diversity, autonomy and intelligence of the future advanced UAV.
