Abstract: According to the features and needs of collecting the data of temperature and humidity of current industrial environment, and the multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion as well, this paper proposes a fuzzy logic-based approach for the multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion. Firstly, this paper introduces the hardware construction of monitor system of temperature and humidity. Then, based on fuzzy set theory, the paper describes the model of fuzzy synthetic evaluation, and then proposes a novel algorithm for choosing the weights assignment proposals. Finally, a multi-places and multi-sensors data fusion approach, which is based on fuzzy synthetic evaluation, is presented. An example is also used for demonstrating the proposed approach. The results of system implementation identify that the approach can remove the influence of incorrect data on evaluating the temperature and humidity of current environment, and the data fusion result is objective and correct as well.

Abstract: A hierarchical model of survival situational awareness is proposed based on multi-feature fusion, which includes three layers: feature fusion layer, situation assessment layer and comprehensive perception layer. In the feature fusion layer, light-computation features and efficient fusion mechanisms are employed to improve degree of differentiation. Situation assessment layer adopted fusion technology of variable fuzzy set theory to improve the accuracy and objectivity of evaluation. Furthermore, time series of services are introduced to judge the safety states and predict the trends in comprehensive perception layer. Experiments indicate that proposed model is more scientific and more accurate, which is valuable for generalizations and applications.

Abstract: In the Mobile ad hoc network, most routing protocols assume that all wireless links are bidirectional, but such assumptions may lead to sub-optimal performance in conditions of non-uniform transmit power and non-uniform background noise. We present a scheme improved from Ad Hoc Ondemand Distance Vector (AODV), which computes routing path using backup routing table and Backtrack Route Reply mechanism when subjected to unidirectional links. Each node maintains a backup path to the source node, and when the backup path is unavailable, the node will backtrack to last hop to find the alternative path to the source. Compared to basic AODV and AODV-Blacklist schemes, simulation results show that the more unidirectional links exist the better the proposed scheme performs, and under different mobility models, the performances metric are significant difference.

Abstract: A good architecture is the basis of system security and stable operation, which can effectively reduce the risk of system construction, and ensure health development. The mobile payment system involves many links; the process is complex and diverse with higher security requirements. Combined with advanced security technology --- tolerance mechanisms, a novel mobile payment system architecture is design. Voting unit and detection unit checks the states of system; management unit restores or reconstructs system to ensure the operation of key services by redundancy of services and equipments; Threshold (n, t) multiplies the difficulty of the attack proxy server to gain access to sensitive information. According to security and performance analysis, proposed architecture is safe and effective.

Abstract: As the specific demand, a wireless audio & video communication system based on 3G network and TI DM368 DaVinci platform was designed. The data acquisition, wireless transmission protocol, G.726 and H.264 AV compression and data encryption were integrated. For improving the security and anti-interferon of data transmission, VPDN technology and the ZETATCP are adopted. The system can be widely used in security monitoring, motion detection, disaster prevention and other fields.

Abstract: Field Programmable gate array (FPGA) technology is continuously gaining market share and becoming essential part of the today’s modern embedded systems. The most common FPGA architecture consists of an array of logic blocks called Configurable Logic Block (CLB), I/O pads, and routing channels. In general, a logic block (CLB) consists of logical cells called Slices and other dedicated resources. A typical cell consists of LUTs (Look up table). In modern FPGAs, there are 6-input LUTs instead of 4-input LUTs. In this paper we present the use of 6-input LUT architecture for some Boolean functions (Mux8, Mux16, Mux32, Mux64, SOP64, OR40 and AND40).we show our results in terms of LUTs and Slices and these results are much better as compare to previously reported results that based on 4-input LUTs.

Abstract: A printed ring-shaped monopole antenna fed by coplanar waveguide for use in the dual-band wireless communication system has been presented and investigated. By adding some branch strips inside the ring and changing its size, as well as the further optimization, the proposed antenna could work effectively within the scope of 2.4-2.484GHz and 5.15-5.825GHz frequency band. Practical antenna structure is fabricated. The details of the antenna design and both the theoretical and experimental results are discussed.

Abstract: This study describes a new precise recycle module as a clean poduction pocess and an environmental protection consideration that uses micro electroetching (MECE) and a new design of an intercross tool to remove defective transparent conducting oxide (TCO) nanostructures from the optical PET diaphragm surfaces for e-paper surface. This process takes very little time to remove the TCO easily and cleanly and is highly efficient both technically and economically. A large diameter of the cathode of the intercross tool combined with a small gap between the cathode and the workpiece corresponds to a higher removal rate of TCO. This higher feed rate combined with enough voltage results in a shorter machining time. A high rotational speed of the intercross tool can also improve dregs discharge and allows a higher feed rate of the optical PET. A small end radius of the cathode or a thin cathode of the bulge-form tool takes less time for the same amount (20 nm) of TCO removal.

Abstract: The urban public bus operation dispatch system is one of the most important systems in ITS (Intelligent Transportation System). This paper describes the system in detail, including the system’s architecture, the bus onboard equipment and the system’s software part etc. Through integrating the single chip module, GPRS module, GPS module and other modules, the bus onboard equipment is designed. According to the object-oriented software engineering ideas and using UML (Unified Model language), the software system is designed. Finally, the bus onboard equipment and the system software part can send information each other using GPRS technology. The system has been implemented using Visual Studio 2005 C# language and tested in laboratory.
