Analysis of Structural Deformation for ZW32 Vacuum Circuit Breaker on Outdoor Column

Article Preview

Abstract:

In order to ensure the mechanical stability of outdoor vacuum circuit breaker, it is quiet necessary to study on the change of the mechanical behavior caused by the structural deformation during installation. A model of outdoor ZW32 vacuum circuit breaker is created by a three-dimension design software. Using the finite element analysis software to emulate whether the sliding chute on the bracket would be deformed when the box of circuit breaker has structural deformation. The result shows that the deformation would occur. Besides, after the circuit breaker keeps working for a period of time, the lubricant on the sliding chute decrease. So the drive rod and the operating system can't slide smoothly in the deformed sliding chute. As a result, the mechanical property of the circuit drops in a large extent and it cannot run smoothly.
